This time without squares. Jochen and Patrick as Allied commanders, Siegfired and me on the German side. The terrain outlook was much better, thanks to Siegfried and Patrick! And no, there where no Tigers on D-Day, but we lacked proper tank types.
The game turned out into a German victory.
The feeling afterwars is that for a single game the very basic rule was quick and fun. Now without squares, the rule felt not so good any more. Demands of the rule are higher , with the want of a more realistic wargame.
