Happy Camerone Day! I didn't get a chance to play a game today (no opponents!) so I am posting photos of a mini-Camerone game played a while ago with 54mm figures. In an unhistorical twist the Chasseurs d' Afrique arrived, but too late to save Capt. Danjou. I manged to rescue his hand when the game ended ;). Rules were Fistful of Lead. My favorite skirmish rules.
Fistful of Lead in 54mm is always enjoyable. I play it extensively as my WW2 skirmish rules.
ReplyDeleteGreat game Nick! Splendid scenery. How does the rule work?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dirk! Activation uses a regular deck of playing cards. The player is dealt the same number of cards as the miniatures on his side. He activates his miniatures one by one based on the cards in his hand using the Bridge order of suit priority. Miniatures can take two actions, including moving, shooting, aiming, charging, etc. Some cards can heal wounds or get the figure out of being pinned. It's a fast moving game. I have run a Magnificent Seven game with fifteen plays and, after a few turns, the game ran itself.
