  1. ...and a heavy piece it is, considering the 'About'.. ruleset. I think the figures are useful for several other duties 'in' and 'out' of the line of fire. The crew can be combined with any period correct 'piece'. I see some conversion work coming up. Nice!

  4. To all in this group. ......... in fact you'll have to put them together from individual components with glue. These are hard plastic figures (like the old time, Airfix historic collector and multipose series). Some variations can be made by switching limbs, torso's and heads. Involving parts of the Airfix historic 54mm French grenadier or line infantry man in this, makes it a world to discover with unlimited possibilities. I think a Bavarian gun team-wish is fair and easy enough when throwing in some Hat soft plastic decapitations! Let the sky be the limit.

  7. Nice set, Victrix is perfect but again a french artillery!
I have two type in Armies in Plastic and in two sets of Italeri, I haven't need of another french cannon but anithings like Austrian, Prussian or whatever Country without artillery. I must hope only in the new collection of Expeditionary Force...and sorry, I don't like cut heads. It is no possible we have not again many Countries guns for Napoleonic Collections in 2015.
Any Productor of plastic toy soldiers can hear me?

  8. I can fully agree with preceding comment. It is unbelievable that every firm makes the same choices concerning the types of figures to bring out. Hat's more or less the exception to that rule. In the long run we see 'm bringing out lesser and lesser sets of the not so straightforward types of figures. There is absolutely a commercial fact behind that. Money rules, inevitably. I still have to get used to that once in a while, even after reaching the 'Abraham+' age. I know Hat production team follows this blog directly and indirectly. It may be that in the long run.......????
